The very first time that I talked to Bekah and Dan on the phone, I just knew we were a fit. Bekah just has this way about her that would draw anyone in. The day of the wedding when the girls were dressing at the hotel, I literally sat on the floor with them, talking, and laughing….. learning about their college days, and their families…. the way they inspired each other and some of their favorite things. I felt instantly connected to them in a way that only friends feel. It truly takes a special person to make you feel at home and Bekah is one of them. We even joked that we were “stuck with each other”…. even after the wedding 😉

The week before her wedding, though, is when she shared with me that she would be wearing some very special jewelry that once belonged to her mother. Jewelery that was gifted to her mother on the day of Bekahs birth. These gems were not only precious because of their worth, but because Bekahs mom lost her battle to cancer when Bekah was only in her early 20’s. When her father presented her with these special jewels, I could feel the love that he had for his daughter and how she was more important to him now more than ever. And now dad is giving that privilege to Dan as well. So much love all around.
